I was playing Pokemon Diamond for a while (which I'm currently actually pretty bored of after having "finished" the game twice and no really convenient wireless access) and I was all "Pixel art~!" and I wanted to do some. Starting with viverridae. This genet took way too long. He's in PNG because I wanted to add whiskers and leaving them solid white would make them look to thick, so I had to fade them and PNG is the only thing I can do that with while still keeping the transparency :x Does internet explorer support that yet?

Concepts for a ~magical~ cat guy among my other cat guys. XD If you remember these guys, that's what I'm talking about. I like the top left design but I cannot redraw it for beans. :| And god, if I'm going to do a character design I should be able to, you know, draw it again. I had another picture of him, but I'm broke, cannot afford a Flash drive, and have to use lame disks (yes, floppy disks. So 90's) which corrupted the file. >|



And I don't know what this one is all about. It sucks, that's one thing. I'm really hoping Life Drawing will benefit me, but I'm afraid I'll end up doing all the studies the wrong way and it won't improve my drawing process or something. :|


Beech martens, I've discovered, are the awesome. >) My cat actually reminds me a bit of one. She has a diamond on her chest. Not really an arrow type thing but still, it's similar.
